This months meeting was a great event; held on November 06, 2001, at the NEW Peninsula Workforce Development Center.  If you have been following the past events, you will know that the center is a new facility that provides a range of job/career/education and training services.  The facility accommodates the Virginia Employment Commission, Thomas Nelson Community College, Old Dominion University and other groups.

The meeting agenda included an a presentation on Data Management Solutions, given by Patrick Brochu,  of SmarTeam America, Inc. and a V5 Presentation of CATIA Workbenches, given by Mike Olson of Newport News Shipbuilding.

Cenit America, a source for CATIA consulting/training /education, engineering services, data management systems and much more, sponsored the door prize. Gary Thurston of Cenit America introduced the company and its services, closing with a drawing for the prize, a Palm Pilot.

The winner of the Palm Pilot was Anne Martin of Newport News Shipbuilding.  Also attending the meeting was Frank Banesse of Cenit, Len Turner of Dassault Systems.  Local attendees included Siemens Automotive, ITT, TNCC, Newport News Shipbuilding, and an independent consultant.

Available at the meeting was literature for distribution, from the last CATIA COE Conference, held in October, at Coronado Springs, Orlando Florida.  Everyone in attendance at the TACO meeting received a COE computer lap top carrying bag, as well as T-shirt!

In addition to all the goodies, a luncheon was provided by TNCC, Work force Development Center.
